Psychologist, doctor of social sciences in the discipline of pedagogy. She defended with distinction her doctoral thesis entitled. ‘Competence preparation of psychologists for work in the Prison Service in the perspective of education and professional development’ at the Academy of Justice. She obtained her master’s degree in psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Graduate of postgraduate studies in social prevention and re-socialisation, professional training for the first officer rank in the Prison Service at the COSSW in Kalisz, four-year training in systemic psychotherapy recommended by the Polish Psychological Association and numerous courses and trainings in psychology, pedagogy and re-socialisation. A participant in doctoral studies at the School of Graduate Studies, Department of Psychology, University of Toronto, Canada. Author of scientific articles and chapters in scientific monographs. She has many years of experience in psychological work with children, adolescents and adults, including people deprived of liberty in the Kluczbork Prison. Psychotherapist in the process of certification in the systemic stream. Lieutenant of the Prison Service, assistant at the Institute of Penitentiary Studies at the Academy of Justice.

Research interests:

competences and education of uniformed services officers, psychological work with persons deprived of their liberty, systemic psychotherapy, prevention of professional burnout and PTSD in uniformed services officers, prevention and therapy of addictions.
