Marcin Niedbała PhD

Assistant Professor at the Institute of Family Sciences.

As of October 1, 2011, he began studying law (full-time single master’s degree) at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. During his studies, he completed internships at the District Court Lublin-East in Lublin, based in Świdnik, and at the Law Office of Advocate Patrycja Kucharczyk. He attended a seminar on executive criminal law conducted by Prof. Dr. Jerzy Migdal, under whose supervision he prepared his master’s thesis entitled. “Classification of convicts,” receiving his Master of Laws degree on June 14, 2016.
Aiming to improve his competence almost from the beginning of his education, he trained in German and English, as a result of which he obtained certificates of proficiency in both languages at the B2 level.
After graduating from law school on November 20, 2017, he was admitted to the legal advisor’s apprenticeship, which he served at the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisors in Lublin. During its course, he worked at the Law Office of Legal Advisor Wojciech Zagajski and cooperated with legal advisor Małgorzata Sanecka-Olszewska, who runs the Law Office of Legal Advisor Małgorzata Sanecka-Olszewska. After completing his legal advisor apprenticeship and passing the legal advisor exam, on July 12, 2021 he was entered on the list of legal advisors of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Lublin under number LB – 2655.
In 2022, he completed his doctoral studies in Law at the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, defending with distinction his dissertation entitled: “Legal responsibility for the dissemination of fake news in the Polish legal order” prepared at a seminar on media law conducted by Dr. Wojciech Lis, Professor at the Catholic University of Lublin, obtaining a doctoral degree in legal sciences.
In 2023, he completed postgraduate studies in the field of new technology law at the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Since 2024, he has served as an assistant professor at the Institute of Family Sciences of the Academy of Justice.
