Łukasz Roman PhD

Research and teaching employee on a position of an assistant professor at the Institute for Security Sciences at the Academy of Justice. Doctor of social in the field of defence sciences, with a specialisation in war studies. He obtained his degree from the Faculty of Management and Command at the National Defence University of Warsaw. He graduated from the National Defence University of Warsaw with a master’s degree in management, specialising in management and command. He has a postgraduate degree in history and social studies. Graduate of the National Defence University of Warsaw.

Organizer and co-organizer of many conferences and scientific seminars, as well as many training courses and projects in the area of security. Main lecturer, moderator of debates, panel discussions and socio-economic meetings.

He has cooperated with many companies, scientific and research institutions and academic centres in the area of security. Reviewer of numerous scientific articles and monographs. Author of scientific and research papers and numerous scientific publications in the field of national security. Speaker, moderator and member of the scientific and organisational committees of many scientific conferences and seminars.

Supervisor of dozens of master’s theses, bachelor’s theses in the field of internal security and postgraduate qualification theses, reviewer of over 50 postgraduate, bachelor’s and master’s theses. Assistant supervisor of PhD thesis.

Author of numerous publications in the area of security, defence and war studies in national and international publications. In addition to war studies, he conducts research in homeland security, the national defence system, national security, public security and political science.
