Marcin Mazurek PhD

Assistant Professor at the Research and Development Institute of the Academy of Justice in Warsaw. A graduate of the National Defence University of Warsaw, he received his PhD of Security Studies from the War Studies University in 2019. He has completed numerous courses and training in teaching methodology. He has teaching experience as a university teacher. He is the author and co-author of scientific articles, and the initiator of conferences, training courses and workshops on security in the broad sense. Member of teams in the field of expertise and studies in cooperation with public and private entities. He cooperates with academic and training centres of the Ministries of Interior and Administration, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Justice and non-profit organisations. He is a member of the Polish Security Experts Association. His research interests focus on the issues of internal security, crisis management, anti-terrorism, security of urban agglomerations, security of public utilities and institutional dimensions of national security.
