Mariusz Kuryłowicz PhD

PS Major, graduate of the University of Białystok – (MA in pedagogy) and the Police Academy in Szczytno, where he obtained a PhD degree in social sciences, in the discipline of security sciences. In addition, he completed postgraduate studies in physical education at the University of Physical Education and Tourism in Białystok, postgraduate studies in occupational health and safety management and postgraduate studies in human resources management at the Faculty of Management, Białystok University of Technology. A student of postgraduate Master of Business Administration studies at the Bialystok School of Economics.

Prison Service Officer – Director of the Penitentiary in Białystok from 2017 to 2021. Since May 2021 – Director of the Research and Development Institute of the Academy of Justice in Warsaw. Academic lecturer – assistant professor and member of the Senate at the Academy of Justice in Warsaw, co-editor and author of monographs and texts on security; supervisor of bachelor’s and master’s theses, assistant supervisor of PhD thesis.
