Robert Nowacki MA

PS Major, serves as a senior specialist at the Institute of Security Sciences at the Academy of Justice in Warsaw. He holds a master’s degree in pedagogy. He manages the Department of Protection and Defence of Organizational Units of the Prison Service. He teaches subjects such as security issues and security of penitentiary units. He specialises in issues concerning the use of means of direct coercion in the Prison Service, management during threats to the security of organisational units of the Prison Service and the implementation of protective procedures in prisons and detention centres.

  • Originator and co-author of the in-service training programme for on-duty shift commanders on the use of direct coercive measures and administrative activities related to the reception and release of inmates from penitentiary units, who completed the specialist training for shift commanders before 5 June 2013.
